Puppy Wellness Program
Healthy puppies grow to be happy dogs.
Now that you have a new puppy. Cascade Veterinary Clinic wants you to keep him or her happy and healthy. The best way to do this is to start at the beginning with regular wellness examinations. Vaccinations to protect your puppy against disease are easy to get and part of making sure that you pet grows to be a vigorous adult dog. Our Puppy Wellness program recommends the following:
- Thorough health examination and first vaccination at 7-8 weeks of age with Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza, Hepatitis and Corona virus components (DA2PPC), fecal examination and worming for intestinal parasites. Discussion about spaying or neutering.
- Second vaccination at 12 weeks of age with DA2PPC and including Leptospirosis 4-way, depending on the size of the puppy, 1 year Rabies vaccination may be give at this age or later
- Third vaccination at 16 weeks of age with DA2PPC and Leptospirosis 4-way, 1 year Rabies vaccination if not given earlier
As your puppy grows and matures, the regular visits he or she has come to expect will continue. Cascade Veterinary Clinic's veterinarians will work with you to tailor a program of Adult Wellness and eventually Senior Wellness for your dog.
