Dr. Ed Womack
Dr. Womack grew up in Wenatchee and graduated from Wenatchee High in 1980. He spent the next 5 years pursuing degrees in both biology and zoology at Washington State University. His veterinary degree was completed at WSU in 1989. Dr. Womack returned home after spending a brief period in Everett and has been at Cascade Veterinary Clinic ever since. He became a partner in the practice in 1996, owner in 2002, and continues to enjoy his work not only with dogs and cats, but also with the exotic species (birds, reptiles, small mammals).
He and his wife Allison, and their two children Jake and Kiley, love all of the outdoor recreation Wenatchee offers, and take advantage of it year-round. They have a house-full with 2 cats and 3 dogs. Music continues to be something he enjoys - he takes an active role playing trumpet in the Wenatchee Big Band, and occasional community musical productions. Dr. Womack is proud to be a part of such a wonderful veterinary team that is committed to sincerely serving our clients and their pets needs.
Dr. Ty Johnson
Dr. Johnson grew up Entiat, WA where much of his family still resides. After graduating from Entiat High School, he attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA where he received his pre-veterinary degree in biology. During the summers he worked for the Forest Service on the Entiat Hotshot Crew fighting forest fires. Dr. Johnson attended veterinary school at Washington State University and graduated in 2002 with a degree in veterinary medicine. After graduation Dr. Johnson returned to the Wenatchee valley at Cascade Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian. In 2008 he became a full partner. Dr. Johnson's special interests include orthopedic surgery and ophthalmology. He is one of a small number of veterinarians in Washington State who is trained in arthroscopic surgery.
When not at work, Dr. Johnson enjoys rafting and fishing the Wenatchee River and skiing at Mission Ridge with his wife Emily and their two children, Max and Haille.
Dr. Andrew DeMarco
Dr. DeMarco was raised in Spokane. He graduated from Eastern Washington University and had a ten year career in criminal justice. His interest in animals eventually led him to persue his veterinary degree at Washington State University. Although new to the Wenatchee Valley, he feels right at home due to the abundance of recreational activities available. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Kari and their two children, Michaelanne and Will. Dr. DeMarco is proud to be part of the team at Cascade and looks forward to serving pets and their families here for many years to come! In 2008, he also joined Dr. Womack as a full partner in the practice.
Dr. Zack Hambleton
Dr. Hambleton grew up in Sultan, WA on a small family farm. He attended undergraduate at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where he majored in Zoology. He spent summers working as a commercial fisherman in the Sockeye Salmon Fishery in Bristol Bay Alaska. In addition, Dr. Hambleton also worked a multitude of biology field jobs, including a summer as a spotted owl researcher in Yosemite National Park, a field assistant on the California condor recovery project, and a Hawksbill sea turtle researcher in the backcountry of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. In 2009, he graduated from Veterinary School at Washington State University where he met his wife Dr. Justin Miller. He is excited to be in the Wenatchee Valley where he can pursue rock climbing, mountaineering, telemark skiing and mountain biking all in his backyard. He and Dr. Miller look forward to providing excellent care to family pets at Cascade Vet Clinic for years to come!
Dr. Justin Miller
Dr. Miller grew up in Edmonds, WA. After high school she attended Washington State University to pursue a degree in communications. Her sophomore year she changed her major to Zoology so that she could combine her love for animals and her interest in science pursuing a career as a Veterinarian. She spent the next 8 years in Pullman, graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Miller moved to Wenatchee after graduation with her husband, Dr. Zack Hambleton. In her free time she enjoys running with her dogs, Howard and Tula, hiking, skiing, cooking, and reading with her cat Louis. She is excited to be part of the team at Cascade Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
